  • Regular attendance is important to ensure you see benefits from our work together. Initially, weekly sessions are usually recommended; when possible, the same time will be reserved for you each week. Further down the treatment journey, we may put some gaps between the sessions to allow you the time you need to apply the skills you have learned in our work together.

  • The aim of the initial sessions is for us to get to know each other and for me to learn in depth what you hope to gain from our work together. We will work towards putting together a blueprint of how things are for you, and we will use this to guide us on what you would like to focus on.

  • In our intake session, we will determine together the best length for our sessions moving forward.

    • Intake Sessions are 50 minutes in duration.

    • Parent Coaching Sessions are offered for 50 minutes in duration.

    • Individual Therapy Sessions are offered for 50 or 80 minutes in duration.

    • Family / Couple Sessions are offered for 50 or 80 minutes in duration.

  • Yes, currently, Take Two Therapy exclusively offers virtual sessions. We are actively working on establishing a physical location and will keep you updated on our progress. Stay tuned for future announcements!

  • The number of sessions you will need depends on your individual goals and needs. During your initial consultation, your therapist will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan. Together, you will regularly review your progress and adjust the plan as necessary to ensure you are receiving the most effective care.

  • Take Two Therapy does not offer direct billing. If applicable, our services may be covered under your benefit plan under Registered Social Work or Social Work Services. Please reach out directly for more information!
